One unique aspect of our advice is that we'll be able to give you rental forecasts and advice which you will rarely get from estate agents and property developers (or not accurate ones anyway). Potential buyers often find this very useful and our number one piece of advice before you buy is to be ruthless with yourself about why you are buying.
- Do you want a family home for holiday use or future retirement?
- Are you just looking for a capital growth investment?
- Do you want to see rapid yield from the rentals?
The type of property you buy depends greatly on the answer to these questions and it is rare to find all in combination. We often advise people who want a long term retirement home to initially buy for rental yield and then if they do want to move out there later on, sell and buy something different further down the line.
