Many people think of Cape Town as a city destination but most visitors spend little time downtown. The big attractions are in the area surrounding the Cape with the beautiful beaches, mountains and gardens and great opportunities for seeing wildlife – don't be fooled into thinking you can do Cape Town in a few days: a week is the minimum for a first visit and you'll leave with a long to-do list for the next visit.

This means where you stay is very important: the fashionable beaches and restaurants of Camps Bay and Clifton , the open surfing beaches of Bloubergstrand, the buzz of the V&A Waterfront, the peace and quiet of the Winelands or the stunning views of False Bay . Getting Around

Because there is so much to see we recommend you take a rental car. Even though they drive on the left the roads are well marked. We usually collect our clients from the airport and then have the car delivered to your accommodation as this is a more relaxing way to arrive and gives you time to settle in.

If you don't want to drive yourself we can arrange chauffeured tours or have a driver at your disposal – definitely recommended for visiting the Winelands.
