Bloubergstrand (pronounced Blow-berg-strand) is most famous for its postcard view of Table Mountain and wherever you go in Blouberg, you are always aware of its towering presence, with the cloud covering known as the "Table Cloth" coming and going. It is also renowned for its water sports and is a world epicentre for the booming sport of kite surfing, as enjoyable for spectators as participants.
